Here’s a quick peek at a few more decorative details to the interior of the house that we’ve added.
1) A dish towel that actually matches the teal wall in the kitchen! (Yes, I do realize that I’m getting excited over a towel.) I found this one at Crate and Barrel during our trip to San Francisco. I love the cheerful paisley.
2) Red-tipped photinia and red daylilies in the cute bulb vases from West Elm. The very retro back splash is also very monotonous, so this was a fun way to add a little color (and I love how I was able to pick them from our yard).
3) Square tealight holders from Pier 1. At a dollar a piece, they’re a great way to brighten (ha ha) up the space. Currently, I have them on the dining table, but they’re definitely versatile.
4) Framed postcards from our trip to San Francisco. I found these at the gift shop at the foot of the Golden Gate bridge and thought they would look really cool framed. We hung them on the hallway leading to the bedrooms and bathroom. I think it adds a nice touch of color, and it’s also a fun way to remember the trip with something besides a T-shirt or magnet.
