Finally… Front Yard Landscaping!

We finally planted all of our plants from Spring Hill Nursery, which was quite a task (I think we ended up planting around 60 plants total). After a full week, they seem to be adjusting well, and many have starting sprouting. The majority of the plants were really tiny when they arrived (as in, a bunch of roots with a little bud thing at the top). For some reason, I was thinking they would all arrive full size (though I’m not sure how that would work since they were being shipped).

It’s a drastic improvement from the overgrown bushes though!

We also put down the five bags of Textraw that we had (we still need one or two additional bags to completely cover all of the weed fabric).

The dwarf banana tree and lime tree are in the autopot inside the house.

We’re very pleased so far with the results. We’ve had quite a few afternoon rain showers, so I’m sure that’s really been beneficial to the plants. As for the Textraw, I’d definitely recommend it!
